When Dodge put the Charger back on the market in 2005, I was less than thrilled. With the Ford Mustang being the poster car for retro-made-modern at the time and the Camaro being almost a space-aged interpretation of an old classic, the Charger…well…it didn’t do either of those things. And it’s not that Dodge had to absolutely do the same thing as GM and Ford, but they should have. I mean, you can’t just slap a name plate on any car and it be that car. Actually, that’s pretty much what all companies do, but I’m talking about principle here.
The Charger, as it stands now, doesn’t call back to its heritage so much and I find this disappointing as I am a fan of the 69 and 70 Chargers. So, when I became aware that they were working on a restyle, I got my hopes up that they’d do it right the second time around. God, please just let this be cleverly- disgusied test mule. Either way, I expect Dodge to take the wrapping off later this year and I’m hoping to see a lot more influence from the Chargers of old. Also, let us not overlook the fact that this car will be carrying their all new V6. And check the photos of that new interior. Looks pretty slick, I must say. I’m not hating the LED tail lights either.
I found these on Autoblog.com. Just FYI.

The new Dodge Charger is awesome! It incorporates some of the nicest elements of the original, and throws in some modern styling as well. In person, it’s absolutely stunning.
Do you think blogging just has to be about writing? Reason I ask is I want to start a photography blog, but I feel I am better at expressing myself with photos rather than write. Should I even start it? With your experience could it work, more pictures, less words?
I think that is an interesting point, it made me think a bit. Thanks for sparking my thinking cap. Sometimes I get so much in a rut that I just feel like a record.
Keep up the great work!
